It describes a vulnerability in IOBluetoothFamily kernel extension (IOKit is a never-ending hole of security vulnerabilities). Mavericks and most probably all previous versions are vulnerable but not Yosemite. The reason for this is that Apple silently patched the bug in Yosemite.
