| | Near the end of my last boat-related post, I described my plan for a "spar bench" - basically a really long flat surface that I can use to glue up the mast. The spar bench is made with 2x4s, on edge, topped by plywood. One of the keys is making sure the bench is flat and not twisted. It'd be a shame to go to all of this trouble only to make a twisted spar. |
