Design I confess: I am not a designer. This may be obvious. But I enjoy learning about design through practice, in much the same way that a child enjoys learning about cooking by making mud pies. In practical terms, I sketched something on a notepad out and then starting throwing bits of CSS together to see what happened. Originally, there were going to be more angles and irregular shapes, but I couldn't get the shadows to work out right, so I dropped that.
