| | | | | JDK 11 is the latest release of the JDK (Java Development Kit). There are several changes since JDK 8 that will require projects to update their dependencies or build tools. Many open source projects have resolved these issues when adding support for JDK 9 and 10. For most projects that have been updating their dependencies regularly, the upgrade process to JDK 11 shouldn't be too difficult. Last year I wrote a guide on upgrading Clojure projects to Java 9. | |

| | | | | In my previous Long-Term Funding update I said I would review/overhaul the Libraries pages (both authoring and the directory) and write the tools.build cookbook. The library authoring guide has been rewritten to use the Clojure CLI, deps-new, and deps-deploy and was well-received by the community, who provided some useful feedback that I have also incorporated into the guide. The information from the library directory has been integrated into The Clojure Toolbox via a couple of Pull Requests that added optional tool-tip descriptions and libraries that were on clojure-doc but missing from the Toolbox. Thanks to James Reeves for accepting those PRs!What else did I get done? | |

| | | Hello ?? I'm a software developer by profession but I also enjoy photography, this is my first blog post related to photography, here are some photos I took with the Canon R6 and the EF 15-35mm F4L lens in Timisoara train station. I've taken the photos underexposed at 1/60, 6400 ISO and F4. It was a cold and rainy night and I couldn't focus well on taking photos because I was waiting for the train. | ||
