| | | | | Here's a good way to remember how many books are in the Old and New Testaments (not my idea - I got this in a Walk Through the Bible session many years ago): Count the number of letters in OLD and TESTAMENT - 3 and 9. Put them together, 39.? There are 39 books in the Old Testament.? How about the New Testament? Count the letters, still?3 and 9. There are 3?x 9 = 27 books in the New Testament, and thus a total of 39?+ 27 = 66 books in the Bible. (I thought that?was clever.)? All Christian belief | |
