A driving motivation of the Graduate Diversity Officers is to ensure that the research environment at UC Davis is one in which students and postdocs, particularly those from historically excluded populations, can thrive. To that end, we provide mentoring and advising and we advocate for students who are facing academic challenges. We also help link students and postdocs to external resources that help to enhance their training experience. |

Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design is the home to the two undergraduate majors Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Environmental Design, as well asthe Geography Graduate Group. Landscape Architecture courses have been taught at UC Davis since the 1940s. We pride ourselves on the small, family-like atmosphere of LA+ED. Faculty and undergraduate students work closely in studio settings, group studies, and research. |
