I have real issues with Halloween: H20, the most pressing being its use of the Michael Myers character, who for my money doesn't suit the hip, self-aware horror of the late 90s. The movie came two years after Wes Craven's meta-infused Scream, and this being a Dimension Films production, that particular film's legacy looms large. |
