| | | | | The strip Las Vegas, baby. I was visiting for a work conference so I brought a couple of film cameras along with me. I wanted to shoot gonzo-style - black and white film, high contrast, shooting from the hip, and capturing impromptu scenes within casinos and along the strip. I needed to be able to shoot quickly within the smog filled casinos. For this I chose the Olympus XA from 1979 with Ilford Delta 400 film pushed to 800. | |

| | | | | James review the Nikon N2000, a superb value 35mm film SLR that's as good today as it was when it first released in 1985. | |

| | | Shot with a ~1960 Ihagee Exakta Varex IIa, with a Sonnar 135/f4 that I should be using more, really. Pretty much the ideal focal length for "look there's a neat scene over there". On Foma 200 (which I like much more than the 100), scanned negatives. | ||
