| | | | | After Girona, we drove to [Viehla](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vielha_e_Mijaran) in the Aran valley area, just before the border with France in the Northeast of Spain. It's a beautiful mountain town, surrounded by mountains. We did our normal touristy wandering, and also fit in two long hikes. One, starting from in town, was [a lot more elevation than we thought we were signing up for](https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/afternoon-hike-9713faa-386?u=i&sh=1jxywh), but gave us some nice views of the valley and a few of the nearby towns.
