Install the nfs-kernel-server package. sudo apt-get install nfs-kernel-server Check to see if NFS is running. sudo systemctl status nfs-kernel-server Create a directory to serve via NFS. sudo mkdir -p /srv/nfs Create an /etc/exports file.
