I feel a kinship with artists who have been working at their thing long enough to get closely insightful and passionate about a very specific aspect of what they do. And instead of using that as a platform to champion themselves, "me me me," they focus their energy on preserving and sharing this little flame. Keeping it burning in the hopes of passing it onto the next one to care for the tradition, the craft, the connective power. | |
