| | | | | Hi ??, In this blog post I will show you how to connect an Ethernet only device to Wi-Fi using an extra router and the WDS functionality. I initially wanted to install the TP Link Archer T4U WiFi adapter driver on my Ubuntu 20.04 PC but unfortunately the driver is no longer supported. Since I really needed high internet speed for my PC, I decided to connect it via an Ethernet cable and buy another TP-Link router to use in WDS mode. | |

| | | | | Data integration and cleaning have long been a key focus of the data management community. Recent research indicates the potential of large language models (LLMs) for such tasks. However, scaling and automating data wrangling with LLMs for real-world use cases poses additional challenges. Manual prompt engineering for example, is expensive and hard to operationalise, while full fine-tuning of LLMs incurs high compute and storage costs. Following up on previous work, we evaluate parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT) methods for efficiently automating data wrangling with LLMs. We conduct a study of four popular PEFT methods on differently sized LLMs for ten benchmark tasks, where we find that PEFT methods achieve performance on-par with full fine-tuning, and ... | |

| | | | | Retrieval Augmented Generation Hackathon starts on September 3. Repo with more info, stream schedule, samples, registration: https://aka.ms/raghack Large language models are powerful language generators, but they don't know everything about the world. RAG combines the power of large language models with the knowledge of a search engine. This allows you to ask questions of your own data, and get answers that are relevant to the context of your question. LLM AI YouTube playlists Thanks for reading! :-) | |
